HISTORY

Dane Manufacturing was established in 1917 by a group of local investors for the purpose of developing and manufacturing a "below-frost-line" water pump. The inventor-shareholder developed the "Can't Clog" hog feeder which was a staple in the agricultural products line. Over the years, the company branched out into hog waterers and milkhouse accessories. As small farmers began to disappear increasing down-time on our machines, it was decided to "sell" this time and move toward contract manufacturing. This has been our rich tradition for over 85 years and has made this company what it is today.
