History of Dane Manufacturing
1917
Dane Manufacturing is established by a group of local investors looking to develop and manufacture a below the frost line water pump. The "Can't Clog" hog feeder became a staple in the agriculture industry. After a successful run, the company branched out as a contract manufacturer.
2001
Dane Manufacturing is purchased by owner and CEO Troy Berg. With a strong background in engineering, he turned to his highly skilled workforce and aimed to build an innovative, growing company while maintaining focus on valuing employees and customer service.
2007
Dane Manufacturing wins its first of six INC 5000 awards demonstrating its long-term commitment to excellence in manufacturing. Dane Manufacturing also won in 2008, 2009, 2013, 2019 and 2020.
2015
Dane Manufacturing commits to a goal of tripling the size of the company in 3 years. Through innovation, capabilities growth and acquisition the goal was reached, serving more customers and creating new jobs for the community.
2022
After a long, rich history in our Dane, Wisconsin factory, Dane Manufacturing relocates to Waunakee. Our new facility offers 420,000 square feet of manufacturing space, allowing for continued growth and capabilities investment.
2023
Dane Manufacturing wins a Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year Award for Exceptional Entrepreneurialism following several years of rapid growth and capability enhancement.
