Position Title: Powder Coat Operator (Painter)

Department Location:                 Production

FLSA Classification:                     Hourly

Employee Classification:             Non-exempt, full-time

Position Summary:

Painter will be able to effectively and safely perform the powder paint application process.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Prep and visually inspect parts to ensure quality parts will be added to paint line as needed.
  2. Efficiently and safely load and unload parts to and from powder paint line as needed.
  3. Perform the powder paint application process.
  4. Ability to perform maintenance required for powder paint line equipment.
  5. Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
  6. Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on given task.
  7. Work in a fast environment with changing priorities, and report productivity to supervisor.
  8. Follow all company rules and policies.
  9. Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
  10. Keep work area clean and organized.
Qualifications:
  1. Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  2. Experience: 6 months – 1 year manufacturing experience preferred, 6 month-1 year powder paint line experience.
  3. Computer/Software and Office Equipment Skills: Experience using a computer for punching in and out of jobs preferred but not required.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  1.  Must place a strong emphasis on quality and attention to detail.
  2. Ability to review documents for accuracy and completion.
  3. Able to read and understand work orders.
  4. Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision following detailed manufacturing instructions.
  5. Able to work in a team environment.
  6. Able to effectively provide and accept feedback from colleagues.
  7. Flexibility to work overtime to ensure smooth and continuous manufacturing process.

 

Essential Physical/ Mental Requirements:

  1. Must have the ability to maintain concentration and focus on tasks requiring timeliness and accuracy while working in an environment with interruptions and noise.
  2. Must have good time management skills.Work requires bending, lifting, and reaching.
  3. Need to occasionally move loads of up to 50 lbs.
  4. Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.

Position Title: Forming Operator (2nd Shift)

Department Location: Production

FLSA Classification: Hourly

Employee Classification: Non-exempt, full-time

Job Description:

1. Operate Trumpf and Accupress and other machinery/tools used in the production process, or assist other machine operators.

2. Set up tooling, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment

3. Work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities and report productivity to the supervisor

4. Provide great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task

5. Follow all company rules and policies

6. Follow all safety rules and quality standards

7. Keep work area clean and organized


 

Position Title: Assembly

Department Location: Production

FLSA Classification: Hourly

Employee Classification: Non-exempt, full-time

Job Description:

1. Assemble a variety of different fabricated metal products including but not limited to tanks and large boxes

2. Rethread Fittings

3. Riveting

4. Work area is expected to be kept tidy throughout the shift and left clean and orderly at the end of the shift.

5. Tools must be organized and used properly to ensure long usability.

6. Work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities and report productivity to supervisor

7. Follow all company rules and policies

8. Follow all safety rules and quality standards
