Starmatik Robotic Part Handling Enhances Trumpf TruBend 7030

We continually leverage technology and innovative products as a means to growing our capacity and capabilities.  These advancements keep Dane at the front of the industry, by leveraging automation to enhance our customer’s experiences.

We’ve recently completed the integration of a Starmatik robotic system into the TruBend 7030 Center which uses robotics to unload completed parts and palletize them. Combined with the advanced automation already achieved on the Trumpf TruBend 7030 bend center, the newest enhancements enables full unattended automation.

Prior to its addition, operators removed each finished part and prepared it for downstream operations on the production line, which included manually stacking and aligning parts on a pallet. With the addition Starmatik robot, that final step is now fully automated. The robotic system picks up each part directly from the unloader, squares the part and then stacks the parts precisely on a pallet.

Automated part handling increases the stability of the production line, enables continuous automated manufacturing and provides uniform handling of the parts while still maintaining the precise and repeatable movement required for intricate fabrication work.

The Starmatik is one of the latest additions to our automated smart factory. Our continued enhancements aim to make Dane a strategic partner for customers who look for speed, precision and reliability.
